The P-Ideal Dichotomy and the Failure of Two-Cardinal Square Principles

Abstract

We prove that the $\mathrm{P}$-ideal dichotomy implies the negation of the square principle $\square(λ, ω)$ for every regular cardinal $λ\geqω_2$.
